Meditation from the book: "A woman according to the heart of GOD" By Elizabeth George:
Yes, prayer changes lives, and
one of the major changes is greater purity. Becoming a pure person implies a
process of spiritual growth, and taking seriously the confession of sins during
the time of prayer stimulates that process, leading us to purge our lives of
practices that displease our "SWEETHEARTS": Daddy "ABBA"(GOD),
"YESHUA"(JESUS), the "HOLY SPIRIT" and the Mother of GOD
and our Mother "MARY ".
That's what happened to me when I started working on my prayer life.
For me, gossip was a serious
fight. Although I knew that our "SWEETHEARTS" specifically spoke to
women not to gossip (1 Timothy 3:11 and Titus 2: 3), I did likewise. Feeling
convinced by my disobedience and being aware that gossip did not please our
"SWEETHEARTS", I tried some practical remedies, like putting small
notes on the phone ("Is it true, is it kind, is it beneficial?") And
put Standards for my conversation. I even prayed every day not to gossip. And
still gossiped!
The real change came when I began
not only to pray about gossip, but to confess it as a sin every time I
practiced it. One day, about a month after I take the confession seriously, I
get to the top of my frustration. I was so tired of failing, tired of offending
our "LOVERS," and tired of confessing the sin of gossip every day,
that I submitted to our "LOVERS" for more radical surgery (Matthew 5:
29-30) and asked them That cut the gossip of my life. The "HOLY
SPIRIT" guided me in that decision, guided the surgery and gave me power
during the purification process. Let me tell you quickly that I have had my
falls, but with everything, that day marks a decisive change for me.
Purification, purging my life of one great sin (1 John 3: 3), was accomplished
in part because I confront my sin regularly in prayer. Can you see the process?
Sin led to confession, which led to it being purged.

Sintiendo convicción por mi desobediencia y siendo consciente de que el chisme
no le agradaba a nuestros “AMORES”, probé algunos remedios prácticos, como el
poner pequeñas notas en el teléfono (“Es cierto, es algo bondadoso, es
beneficioso?”) y poner normas para mi conversación. Incluso oraba cada día para
no chismear. Y aun así chismeaba!
El cambio real se dio cuando comencé no solo a
orar acerca del chisme, sino a confesarlo como pecado cada vez que lo
practicaba. Un día, aproximadamente un mes después que tome en serio la
confesión, llegue al tope de mi frustración. Estaba tan cansada de fracasar,
cansada de ofender a nuestros “AMORES”, y cansada de confesar el pecado del
chisme cada día, que me sometí a nuestros “AMORES” para una cirugía más radical
(Mateo 5:29-30) y les pedí que cortaran el chisme de mi vida. El “ESPÍRITU
SANTO” me guió en esa decisión, guió la cirugía y me ha dado poder durante el
proceso de purificación. Permítame decirle rápidamente que he tenido mis
caídas, pero con todo, ese día marco un cambio decisivo para mí. La
purificación, el purgar mi vida de un gran pecado (1 Juan 3:3), se llevó a cabo
en parte debido a que yo confronte mi pecado con regularidad en oración. ¿Puede
ver el proceso? El pecado llevo a la confesión, la cual llevó a que el mismo
