John 6:1-15

"YESHUA" Feeds More Than 5000

6 Later, "YESHUA" went across Lake Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias). 2 A great crowd of people followed him because they saw the miraculous signs he did in healing the sick. 3 "YESHUA" went up on the side of the hill and sat there with his followers. 4 It was almost the time for the Jewish Passover festival.

5 "YESHUA" looked up and saw a crowd of people coming toward him. He said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough bread for all these people to eat?” 6 He asked Philip this question to test him. "YESHUA" already knew what he planned to do.

7 Philip answered, “We would all have to work a month to buy enough bread for each person here to have only a little piece!”

8 Another follower there was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. Andrew said, 9 “Here is a boy with five loaves of barley bread and two little fish. But that is not enough for so many people.”

10 "YESHUA" said, “Tell everyone to sit down.” This was a place with a lot of grass, and about 5000 men sat down there. 11 "YESHUA" took the loaves of bread and gave thanks for them. Then he gave them to the people who were waiting to eat. He did the same with the fish. He gave them as much as they wanted.

12 They all had plenty to eat. When they finished, "YESHUA" said to his followers, “Gather the pieces of fish and bread that were not eaten. Don’t waste anything.” 13 So they gathered up the pieces that were left. The people had started eating with only five loaves of barley bread. But the followers filled twelve large baskets with the pieces of food that were left.

14 The people saw this miraculous sign that "YESHUA" did and said, “He must be the Prophet[a] who is coming into the world.”

15 "YESHUA" knew that the people planned to come get him and make him their king. So he left and went into the hills alone.

6 Después de esto, "YESHUA" se fue al otro lado del Lago de Galilea, que es el mismo Lago de Tiberias. 2 Mucha gente lo seguía, porque habían visto las señales milagrosas que hacía sanando a los enfermos. 3 Entonces "YESHUA" subió a un monte, y se sentó con sus discípulos. 4 Ya estaba cerca la Pascua, la fiesta de los judíos. 5 Cuando "YESHUA" miró y vio la mucha gente que lo seguía, le dijo a Felipe:

—¿Dónde vamos a comprar pan para toda esta gente?

6 Pero lo dijo por ver qué contestaría Felipe, porque "YESHUA"mismo sabía bien lo que había de hacer. 7 Felipe le respondió:

—Ni siquiera el salario de doscientos días bastaría para comprar el pan suficiente para que cada uno recibiera un poco.

8 Entonces Andrés, que era otro de sus discípulos y hermano de Simón Pedro, le dijo:

9 —Aquí hay un niño que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pescados; pero, ¿qué es esto para tanta gente?

10 "YESHUA" respondió:

—Díganles a todos que se sienten.

Había mucha hierba en aquel lugar, y se sentaron. Eran unos cinco mil hombres. 11 "YESHUA" tomó en sus manos los panes y, después de dar gracias a Dios, los repartió entre los que estaban sentados. Hizo lo mismo con los pescados, dándoles todo lo que querían. 12 Cuando ya estuvieron satisfechos, "YESHUA" dijo a sus discípulos:

—Recojan los pedazos sobrantes, para que no se desperdicie nada.

13 Ellos los recogieron, y llenaron doce canastas con los pedazos que sobraron de los cinco panes de cebada. 14 La gente, al ver esta señal milagrosa hecha por "YESHUA", decía:

—De veras éste es el profeta que había de venir al mundo.

15 Pero como "YESHUA" se dio cuenta de que querían llevárselo a la fuerza para hacerlo rey, se retiró otra vez a lo alto del cerro, para estar solo.

1 Pēc tam "YESHUA" pārcēlās pāri Galilejas, tas ir, Tiberijas, jūrai. 
2 Bet Viņam sekoja liels ļaužu pulks, tāpēc ka tie redzēja tās zīmes, ko Viņš darīja slimajiem. 
3 Tad "YESHUA" uzkāpa kalnā un tur apsēdās ar Saviem mācekļiem. 
4 Bet Pashā, jūdu svētki bija tuvu.
5 Kad "YESHUA", acis pacēlis, redzēja, ka daudz ļaužu nāk pie Viņa, Viņš sacīja uz Filipu: "Kur pirksim maizi, lai viņiem būtu ko ēst?"
6 Bet to Viņš sacīja, viņu pārbaudīdams, jo pats gan zināja, ko gribēja darīt.
7 Filips Viņam atbildēja: "Par divi simti sudraba gabaliem maizes nepietiek, lai katram tiktu kāds mazums."
8 Tad viens no Viņa mācekļiem, Andrejs, Sīmaņa Pētera brālis, Viņam saka:
9 "Šeit ir kāds zēns, tam ir piecas miežu maizes un divi zivis; bet kas tas ir tik daudz ļaudīm?"
10 "YESHUA" sacīja: "Lieciet, lai ļaudis apsēstas!" Bet tur bija daudz zāles tanī vietā. Tad tie apsēdās - vīru vien kādi pieci tūkstoši.
11 Tad "YESHUA" ņēma maizes un, teicis pateicības vārdus, izdalīja tās tiem, kas bija apsēdušies; tāpat arī no zivīm, cik tiem gribējās.
12 Bet, kad viņi bija paēduši, Viņš sacīja Saviem mācekļiem: "Salasait atlikušās druskas, lai nekas neiet bojā!"
13 Tad tie salasīja tās un piepildīja divpadsmit grozus ar druskām, kas no piecām miežu maizēm bija atlikušas tiem, kas bija ēduši.
14 Kad nu ļaudis redzēja, kādu zīmi Viņš bija darījis, tie sacīja: "Šis tiešām ir tas pravietis, kam jānāk pasaulē."
15 Bet, "YESHUA" manīdams, ka viņi taisās nākt, lai Viņu ar varu ņemtu un celtu par ķēniņu, viens pats atkal uzkāpa kalnā.
